Ventura Tile and Marble

A San Francisco Business Since 1998
This is Artobrick 3x6" set in a herringbone layout over a concrete substrate. The circular cutout is an unfortunate placement of a plumbing clean out, the cap was tiled to blend in with the surrounding tile walkway.
This is a porcelain 8" tile countertop set over mortar with an under mount stainless steel sink. All edges are cut and mitered so that the design carries over as a finish cap. It is grouted with an epoxy grout for a more durable and stain resistant quality.
The walls are 4" Heath hexagonal tiles. The bathroom is grouted with an epoxy grout.
The Stair Treads are Cast Concrete which are many times more durable than Saltillo Pavers. Each riser has a different Talavera Tile design.
This curbless shower and bathroom has a combination of glass, porcelain and white bisque ceramic tiles all of differing thicknesses and all set flush to perfection.
This is a classic San Francisco bathroom with a little artistic flare.
This house was built in 1908 and is just down the street from the Amphitheater of Roses. The large leaded glass window was inoperable for nearly 100 years and the owner wanted the ability to open it for ventilation. It is now operable and thouroughly water proofed on the shower side with proper pre slope under the water proofing and sloping tile to shed water. All the hardware on the tile side was installed flush for a perfect finish.
This property is surrounded by parkland and accessible by a mile long dirt road. The deck was waterproofed using a torch down method which melts the seams together. The poles on the corners will support the finish railing system. Notice the pitch away from the building. These pre-sealed Saltillo pavers were installed over a mortar bed.
This bathroom features 12x24" porcelain ceramic tiles over 1" hexagonal mosaics on the shower pan, curb faces and the main floor. The hard part about this installation was to keep from getting dizzy from staring at the dots.
